The aim of the “Efficient Photovoltaic Module Photoelectric Parameter Measurement” proficiency testing project is to compare and assess the technical ability of domestic photovoltaic measurement and testing labs to measure the key photoelectric performance parameters of photovoltaic modules understandard test conditions, including short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage and maximum generating power. At the same time, it assesses the testing capabilities of various labs. This is conducive to improving the overall measurement and testing capability in the photovoltaic field, promoting academic exchanges and discussions among labs, and ultimately promoting the unification of photovoltaic values in China. A total of 51 labs took part in the proficiency testing project, including 27 third-party testing institutes, 21 photovoltaic enterprise labs and three equipment manufacturers. In this proficiency testing project, Suntech Photovoltaic Product Testing Center took part in the photoelectric performance measurement capability comparison with four products, i.e. the standard monocrystalline module (60-wafer), standard polycrystalline module (60-wafer), PERC monocrystalline module (60-wafer) and PERC polycrystalline module (72-wafer), and obtained excellent results. This proves that Suntech Photovoltaic Testing Center has the leading technical capability and accuracy in the measurement of regular and efficient modules.
To maintain its leading measurement capability, in addition to regular internal quality control activities, Suntech Photovoltaic Product Testing Center conducts power measurement comparisons with other labs and actively participates in large-scale proficiency testing activities with the most rigid standards. Suntech Photovoltaic Product Testing Center will continue to ensure the high quality of Suntech products and lead the constructive development of photovoltaic enterprise labs.
